Carriage Lane B&B was built in 1865 as an "I" house formation in the Augsburger Amish Mennonite Community. Originally called Sunnybrook Farm purchased in 1864 by Peter Schrock, a minister in the Augsburger church, from 1832 to 1887. Peter came to Butler County in 1830 as an immigrant from Nancy, France with his wife Magadela and their two children.  Peter and Magdalena had eight children in total. Peter Jr. eventually owned this house after the dealth of his father in 1887.

This attractive house has two front doors with a two bay hand crafted porch. The Main House features three fabulous rooms, all original to the home. In the early 1900s the kitchen and second floor area were added to the home.  In the 1970s, the den, main floor bathroom, bedroom, utility room and garage were added.
